Solving a Rubik’s Cube is hard enough as a one-person activity. So when 84 strangers, one monkey and one snake spanning 11 countries manage to make it work, it deserves the attention of the Internet.
Recent Harvard graduate Nuseir Yassin went on a two-month backpacking trip around the world, armed with his iPhone 5S, a GoPro and his tricky cube.
People were pretty gracious, too. According to the YouTube description, only one person rejected Yassin’s invitation to help solve the Rubik’s Cube.
Nuseir: After graduating from Harvard College in May, 2014, I decided to backpack for two months and see what the world had to offer. I also wanted to solve a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube throughout the entirety of my journey. To do so, I had one person do one move only in different locations I had traveled to. This is the final result.
